DESCRIPTION

The anchor chain is a calibrated, short-link anchor chain with a thickness of 7 mm. It is available in a drum with a length of 60 meters. The chain is certified according to the standards NCE EN 818-3, EN24565 and ISO4565 and meets high quality standards.

The chain is galvanized and complies with the ISO 1461 standard, which requires a minimum galvanization thickness of 58 microns. It is regularly checked for its galvanization quality in salt spray tests. A special process ensures better adhesion of the galvanization to the metal, thus increasing its lifespan. The galvanization is done with zinc. In some marinas particularly affected by galvanic currents, the galvanization can quickly deteriorate, which can lead to oxidation of the chain. In such cases, it is recommended to use an anode buoy (Ref. 38266 & 38267) to protect both the anchorage and the metal masses of the boat.

The ANCHOR CHAIN ​​is specially calibrated and designed for use with a Guindeau (anchor windlass). It has a high breaking load of 2548 kg and can support a maximum working load (CMU) of 360 kg. With a diameter of 7 mm and a total weight of 60 kg, it is light yet robust.
